Fenerbahce loan signing Victor Moses has settled down to life in his new surrounding following a nightmarish time in the first-half of the season at Chelsea where he didn’t fit into the plans of coach Maurizo Sarri.
Sarri was appointed in the summer and his departure from the 3-5-2 formation which was the main tactic of his predecessor Antonio Conte saw Moses drop out of the team.
Moses quit the Nigeria national team to focus on his club career shortly after the World Cup in Russia but he still couldn’t find his way into the plans of the Italian coach who has four other players ahead of the Nigerian in his pecking order.
Asked about his new found home in Turkey, Moses says he feels the warmth of people in Turkey before hinting on a possible return to the senior national team of Nigeria by saying he misses playing for the team.
”I feel love here and the fans are really pushing me. Not so different like when I play for Nigeria. I miss playing for Nigeria as making the fans happy is our goal as a team – same as here with Fenerbahce,” he remarked in an interview in the Turkish media.
